New Series: Can you Pray the Gay Away?

In this episode, Randy shares his story of knowing he was different from an early age. Being raised in a devout Christian home, Randy decided to choose a relationship with God and deny himself by living celibately.

Determined to deny his natural sexuality, Randy chose not to date in high school and college until one fateful day when he had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit and profoundly experienced the love of God. Encouraged by this encounter, Randy interpreted this to mean he was "Healed" and within a short time was married with children,

It was during this time that he discovered he had a brain tumor that lowered his testosterone levels, thus giving him the false impression that his sexuality had been healed of his sexual orientation.

Listen, as Randy shares his story of coming full circle into the Love of God and being able to live the life he was meant to live.

Randy and his husband Pete live in Maine and co-parent Randy's beautiful two children. If you struggle with your identity as GLBTI person of faith or know someone who does, please share.
